Cyanoacrylate Adhesives or Super Glue as it is commonly known, is a quick bonding glue that can be used to bond a wide range of substrates. These glues are made from acrylic resin, which is an acrylic monomer. This transforms into a plastic state after curing. Cyanoacrylates require moisture to be present for the adhesive to cure. If there is no moisture, the adhesive will not form a bond with the surface. They bond with a wide range of surfaces including wood, metals, plastic, and textile to name a few. Upon bonding with the surface, a chemical reaction takes place to form a harder and tougher linkage.

All cyanoacrylate adhesives have a shelf-life of 6 to 12 months. They are easy to use, versatile, strong, and very affordable.
